Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet made a big statement about the seriousness of their relationship.
While supporting her beau at the BAFTAs on Sunday night, the Khy founder stunned in a floor-length John Galliano sequin gown from 1995, while Timmy opted for a coordinated black, double-breasted Bottega Veneta suit. Fans couldn’t help but notice, however, a more striking detail in the pair’s accessories — matching Cartier RINGS!

The rings — which are currently going for $42,000 a piece resale — are designed where the brand’s iconic panther is stretched across the finger. The stones throughout the rings feature onyx, diamonds, and emeralds which made for a gorgeous match with the couple’s all-black ensembles. The A Complete Unknown actor wore his on his pinky finger, while Ky wore hers on her right ring finger — so very clearly NOT engagement rings. But could this be a sort of promise ring for them??
Expert Maxwell Stone of Steven Stone Jewelers told PageSix the black onyx in these rings stands out, in particular, as it represents “strength, protection, and resilience”:
