We have NOT heard anything about a potential Sopranos movie in a long time! In fact, last time we heard any substantial rumors about it was back in August 09!
Now, Edie Falco has brought up the possibility of a Sopranos movie once again during a recent interview.
Here’s what she had to say about whether or not it’s happening:
“I’m always the last to know. It’s usually my mother that calls and says, ‘You guys are doing a movie.'”
“I haven’t heard a thing. You know, it could go either way.”
Okay, so that doesn’t help us out TOO much, but at least we know that the project isn’t 100% dead. Also, based on her answer, it sounds like Edie would be up for it if they decided to make a movie.
We’re just glad to hear it mentioned…the series’ ending wasn’t really conclusive. We’re thinking serious Lost Sopranos fans would like a few more questions answered before it’s time to fully move on.
