Elephant Murdered After Attacking Tourist's Car!

At the Kruger National Park in South Africa, an angry elephant attacked and overturned the car of two tourists!
One of the tourists, Sarah Brooks, a British school teacher, was stabbed in the thigh when one of the elephant’s tusks pierced the car.
Sarah and a man believed to be her partner were driving through the safari park, following the elephant until it suddenly turned on them.
It quickly attacked them, pushing then flipping their car.
Luckily, the attack was concentrated mostly on the rear of the vehicle.
The general manager at Kruger National Park said:

“Of course they were totally frightened but also thankful that they were alive. The car is a wreck, if I may put it that way. I mean it was completely flattened but fortunately the elephant concentrated on the back of the car, that’s why we still have our guests alive now as I speak.”

That must’ve been terrifying!! At least Sarah was okay after being treated for her injury.
Sadly, the elephant was shot and killed because he was just too aggressive to safely live at the park.
We’re glad the people are okay, but so sad a beautiful creature had to be put down.
