Elisabeth Hasselbeck made an insanely insensitive mistake on Thursday’s episode of The View while interviewing actor Stanley Tucci, but the talk show host has since manned up and apologized!
In case you missed it – Hasselbeck asked Tucci if his wife, who passed away of cancer in May, had seen his new movie, The Lovely Bones.
Cringeworthy, right??
“It was an honest mistake with Stanley Tucci today & I called him to apologize,” Hasselbeck posted on Twitter following the taping.
“He forgave me (such grace)-if only I could forgive myself.”
Think before you speak next time, sweetie!
