Brad Pitt went on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Friday expecting to have fun… and instead walked away with an unfortunate surprise!

The Once Upon A Time In Hollywood star and host Ellen DeGeneres took a walk down memory lane during their sit-down interview segment, looking back at their very first encounter. As it turns out, Ellen was ready for the moment with a shocking revelation — she previously dated one of the 55-year-old actor’s former girlfriends!

First, the two stars discussed a pool party back in the day, when Pitt accused the lovable TV host of some nefarious activities (below):

“I remember a Melissa Etheridge pool party where I think you were hitting on my girlfriend.”

Ha!!

Ellen, ever the quick one, shot back (below):

“Was I hitting on your girlfriend? Really?”

Uh-huh…

And after Angelina Jolie‘s ex replied in the affirmative and noted that he “was flattered” by the attention Ellen bestowed upon his then-partner, the daytime talk show superstar went a step further, adding (below):

“I actually since then have dated another one of your girlfriends. We’ll talk about that later. After the show.”

HA!!! Too funny! Poor Brad…

Guess we’ll leave that one up to the imagination! Oh, to be a fly on the wall in the green room after that show ended… LOLz!!!
