Emily In Paris Walking Tour Is The Latest Fyre Festival! See What Furious Fans Are Saying!

Fyre Festival 2.0???

Since 2020, Emily In Paris has been a big hit with fans — so much so that it is no surprise that they want to visit all the iconic locations from the show when they come to France! One company Tabl was smart enough to capitalize on this and create a walking tour to experience the city like Emily Cooper! Yes really! But there is a massive flaw to their idea…

Per the website, it is a three-hour walking tour with an expert guide who will take you to “the main spots where this romantic comedy has been filmed,” including the Place de l’Estrapade where Emily’s “chambre de bonne” — AKA her apartment — is located. Visitors also will get to see the Opera metro station, where Emily interrupts a performance of Swan Lake, the Palais Royal Gardens, where Emily and her pal Mindy first met, the Louvre courtyard, Luxembourg Gardens, and more. Along the way, you’ll stop for “some French pastries” and a glass of champagne. A spokesperson for the company says:

“This tour offers an immersive way to experience the magic of Emily In Paris while indulging in some of the city’s finest pastries and champagne – ideal for any foodie fan of the series in particular. Unlike standard walking tours, this experience blends sightseeing with indulgent culinary moments, creating a memorable way to discover the iconic European capital through the lens of the show.”

Sounds great, right? However, the price is astronomical! Tickets were set at £86 per person or a little more than $100 at first — but fans who went on the site this week saw the tour actually cost from $581! Excusez-moi! And now, people are pissed — rightfully so!

Who thought pricing a walking tour at over $500 was a good plan? Yeah, the website states the tour goes to six locations, and pastry tasting/champagne are all included. But it does not cost THAT much! Think along the lines of the Fyre Festival! It’s giving super-expensive cheese sandwiches all over again!

Ugh. We don’t know about this one, Perezcious readers. Fans might be better off just doing a self-guided tour of the Emily In Paris spots. Parisians HATE the show, so you might be better off doing the TV sights solo anyway. Reactions, Perezcious readers? Would you ever do the walking tour? Sound OFF in the comments below!
