Emma Roberts and Garrett Hedlund are so ready to be parents!
A source told Us Weekly the 29-year-old actress and her 35-year-old boyfriend are feeling a mix of emotions amid their unplanned pregnancy, explaining to the outlet:
“[They are feeling] surprised, shocked and happy at the same time, and so are their families.”
Emma’s mom has made no secret of that!

After news of the pregnancy broke, fans flocked to Kelly Cunningham’s most recent Instagram post to ask if her daughter really was expecting, to which the producer confirmed “yes,” before adding in another comment that she was “very excited.”
Meanwhile, the couple are preparing for parenthood ahead of their first child’s arrival. Another source told the outlet:
“They know the sex of the baby but are keeping it private for now. They haven’t picked out any names yet.”
So exciting!

As fans know, the couple started dating around March 2019, with a source telling Us at the time:
“Garrett and Emma have been friends, but this is new, casual and just a couple of weeks old.”
10 months later, an insider claimed the pair were “not talking [about] an engagement or marriage at the moment” but were rather “having fun and enjoying each other.” Yup, they definitely did that! (That’s how the babies are made!) LOLz!

Previously, Hedlund was in a four year relationship with Kirsten Dunst, while Roberts dated her American Horror Story co-star Evan Peters on and off from 2012 to 2019. A source explained after the exes broke off their engagement:
“Evan was so in love with Emma. Their relationship became very toxic. They had the highest highs and then would not speak for days.”
Roberts spoke on these highs and lows in an interview with Cosmopolitan in May 2019, telling the mag:
“Anything ending is hard. Losing something is hard. And the only thing I can say for that is … I’m realizing that life is highs and lows. I’m trying to ride them out and live somewhere in the middle. When you’re low, you think it’s never going to end. When you’re high, you’re so scared of it ending. And I’ve lived in both of those places for too long.”
Hopefully, she’s in a much calmer place now with her future baby daddy!
