Harry Potter star Emma Watson has revealed the secret to her success: Her parents introduced her to alcohol when she was 7-years-old.
Okay, maybe that’s not the exact reason she became a megastar at 11, but the actress maintains that her parents treating her in an adult way made her the sensible girl she is today. The star states:
├óΓé¼┼ôI was never not allowed alcohol – I was seven when I had my first glass of wine, mixed with water and with a meal.├óΓé¼┬¥
The actress who wasn’t “babied” and “expected to step up when I was told to” explains futher that:
“I found it really strange when I got to school and everyone was like, ‘Ooh, we’ve got alcohol!’ I wasn’t interested.”
Perhaps millions of teenagers will use this as an argument to lower the legal drinking age in the states or perhaps millions of parents will start letting their kids drink up in hopes of raising a model young woman like Emma?
Either way, it doesn’t sound like Emma is into beer bongs, so we doubt we’ll be seeing her in rehab anytime soon.
