As if Empire‘s record-breaking ratings weren’t enough to brag about, the FOX musical drama now has another impressive accolade under its belt.
That’s because the Lee Daniels series has beaten The Walking Dead to be the most active show on Twitter.

Empire has gained 5 million viewers since its premiere, which has given Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard‘s vehicle an average of 451,270 tweets per episode; surpassing TWD‘s 444,029.
Scandal ranks a the third most-tweeted about series with 354,085.
If its already dominating social media, we can’t imagine how many people are going to tune in for Empire‘s two-hour season finale on Wednesday!
