An opportunity to properly grieve Eric Dane is on the horizon.
One month after his death, sources close to Rebecca Gayheart have informed TMZ that a public memorial is in the works. According to the sources, the Dane family, including daughters Billie and Georgia, has been moved by all the love and support from fans around the world and they now wish to pay some of it back. The celebration of life, which has yet to be dated, is said to be for the fans and to make Eric “smile and feel loved and know that his life was not in vain” from beyond the grave.

What a beautiful gesture! Especially after the Euphoria star was left out of the Oscars’ In Memoriam tribute on Sunday.
As we’ve reported, Eric died of ALS 10 months after revealing his diagnosis to the public. While details are slim surrounding his celebration of life for now, we’re sure there will be more to come soon.
