Fan Pet Of The Day!

And the award for fan pet of the day goes to… Floyd!
TeddyHilton.com reader, Molly McGlinchey, sent us pictures of the precious Floyd and told us a little about him.

Floyd was the last pup in the liter, the smallest and most fragile. Turns out he has a birth defect – so both his eyes didn’t develop correctly. This results in him being nearly blind in both eyes (as you can see by the odd reflections) and come to find out he is also diabetic.
He’s been through more than any dog should ever need to go through. He’s now 3 years old and is back on track with his health (thanks to a special diet and insulin shots twice a day!) and so far his eyes have maintained and have not gotten any worse.
Most people would of given up on this little guy but he won me over the day I adopted him.

We think it’s important for people to know that just because a pet may need some extra love, doesn’t mean that it’s not worth the effort.
Show them love and they’ll pay it back ten fold.
