Fantasia To Star In Biopic Of Gospel Legend!

American Idol’s Fantasia has signed on to take the lead role in a biopic about Mahalia Jackson. The film, simply titled Mahalia, will follow the gospel legends rise out of poverty in New Orleans to one of the most iconic gospel singers of the age!

Fantasia’s deal has scored her not only the lead, but also a percentage of the gross.

Pretty sweet, girl! If it performs well, expect a lot of $$$ to come your way! Wouldn’t that be nice?!
