Fantasia Faced Off Against Boyfriend's Scorned Wife

But battle rages on between them!

Sources are reporting that American Idol winner Fantasia asked her boyfriend├óΓé¼Γäós wifey, Paula Cook, to meet with her earlier this month, to hash out what went on between her and Antwaun Cook in private. Fantasia had hoped the mediation could settle some of the bitterness between them and keep some of the details of her alleged affair with Paula’s husband out of the media. But things did not go well.

We’re told the ladies attempted to settle their differences in the mediation, but were unable to reach a settlement, even after 12 hours of mediation! An insider explains:

“They didn’t settle because Fantasia refuses to acknowledge that she was aware of Paula’s marriage to Antwaun when she started dating him, and Paula is adamant that she knew.”

Because no settlement was reached, Paula will now move forward with her planned a civil lawsuit against Fantasia for Alienation of Affection.

So just what kind of settlement did Fantasia offer Paula? Supposedly, as much as $100,000 for her silence!
