A MAJOR slip of the tongue!
In the video posted to her YouTube channel and Instagram account, Farrah Abraham mistakenly calls September 11th ‘7-Eleven,’ while visiting the Freedom Tower in New York City.

The former MTV personality shares:
“Okay, so we wanted to do, since it’s gonna be September 11, in honor of the Freedom Towers, and observatory deck and everything, of 7-Eleven, we are going to do this. Wow, look at this guys.”
Oof!
Without realizing her mistake, the former Teen Mom star doesn’t skip a beat and explaining why she chose to bring her 10-year-old Sophia Abraham to the memorial:
“I think this is gorgeous, beautiful, and in memory of a lot of loved ones, a lot of others lost. I remember being in fifth grade when September 11 attacks happened, Sophia was not born yet, so I think it’s really important that Sophia learns about it, and here we go. It’s pretty gorgeous here. It’s such a great day. The buildings are so beautiful.”
Followers were quick to call out the 28-year-old for her insensitive blunder among other apparent missteps including not saying “bless you” when Sophia sneezed, and using the word “enjoy” to describe their complimentary visit. Here are a few comments:
“7/11???? Clearly you are not the one who should be educating that child about 9/11!!!!!”
“Girl…delete this!!! From the way you spelled “World” to the no blessing your child when she sneezes , 7/11 all the way to the bald spots on your head just gleaming … everything about this is ?”
“Unfollowing right now. The fact that she said 7-11 is disgusting. She is using this horrible moment in history to try to gain more fame and exploit her child even more. So shameful”
Considering she referenced the convenience store before the 0:15 second mark, Farrah EASILY could have realized what she said and re-recorded her intro… guess not!

But she wasn’t the only celeb who faced backlash for their 9/11 tribute on Wednesday! While not as obvious as Abraham’s misstep, though still pretty cringeworthy, Kristin Cavallari garnered negative comments of her own for sharing a snap of herself in a plunging dress while on an NYC trip, adding in the apparent afterthought to pay respects on the 18th anniversary of 9/11.
While her caption has since been edited to remove her “tribute,” the 32-year-old initially wrote:
“NYC for 24hrs. And what a time to be here..always remember.”
