We appreciate the father wanting to stop this kid from bullying his son, but it sounds like this may not work!
Stephen Feudner of San Francisco, California was crazy upset that his son was telling him he was being bullied at school, and he couldn’t do anything about it. Especially since the school didn’t seem to care to step in!!
He reached out to administrators to try and receive information about his son├óΓé¼Γäós bully, but they said it was against their policy – which makes sense. Although why they couldn├óΓé¼Γäót arrange a meeting between the two involved kids├óΓé¼Γäó parents is beyond us.
All of this led to Stephen Feudner deciding to take things into his own hands! He ended up going to court and received a restraining order against the child his son claimed was bullying him!
Here’s what the father said:
├óΓé¼┼ôHe├óΓé¼Γäós attacked my son and other children. I am trying to protect them from future attacks by this young man├óΓé¼┬ª It was my last resort. I tried everything else so why not try that? And it was granted.”
Stephen├óΓé¼Γäós son is 9-years-old, so we├óΓé¼Γäóre assuming the bullying classmate is the same age. Which means the pops just got a restraining order against a 9-year-old! That’s definitely out of the ordinary!
If this actually works and stop the bullying of his son then we have no problem with it!
However, we├óΓé¼Γäóre not sure that it will work. The reason for that is because the school refuses to release the name of the student in question, thus the restraining order can├óΓé¼Γäót be served. After five days – the order will be voided.
Whether it’s voided or not, we seriously hope the school deals with this situation ASAP!
Citing privacy issues is NO way to handle a potential bullying problem! This father’s extreme actions wouldn’t even need to have happened if the school had properly dealt with the situation.
It really bothers us that it seems like they did nothing to protect this poor kid!
