1. Ashton Kutcher‘s nonprofit helped save nearly 6,000 children from sex trafficking.
The 40-year-old actor’s organization called Thorn: Digital Defenders of Children (the same one he started with ex-wife Demi Moore) assisted law enforcement in identifying 5,894 child sex trafficking victims and rescuing 103 children from “situations where their sexual abuse was recorded and distributed” last year. Not only did the company create software to fight child sexual exploitation through the Technology Task Force, it also helped disrupt 6,608 perpetrators, encouraged over 140,000 individuals seeking child sexual abuse material to get help, and educated 3.5 million teens through its “Stop Sextortion” campaign. Truly amazing work!!!

Mamoudou Gassama went from an undocumented immigrant to a national hero when he scaled a building to save the little girl dangling from the balcony. After the act of bravery, French President Emmanuel Macron said Mamoudou would be made a French citizen and has been offered a job by the Paris Fire Brigade!
