Felicity Huffman's Bond Set At $250K As It's Revealed Guns Were Drawn During Her Arrest

UPDATE 8:06 A.M. EST: Felicity and and William did appear in court yesterday. The judge released her on a $250K signature bond, and she needed to surrender her passport. Kinda odd since she’s not a flight risk OR a danger to anyone! She will be in Boston for a court appearance on March 29. The other actress indicted yesterday, Loughlin, is set to surrender today.

Macy and Felicity Huffman have reportedly appeared in front of a downtown Los Angeles judge at the federal courthouse after the actress was indicted this morning on charges of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud. The afternoon court appearance is after seven federal officers reportedly showed up at their Hollywood Hills home this morning with guns drawn while the family was asleep, including their two daughters, sources shared with TMZ. The insider shared that guns were drawn as a precaution.
Apparently, the Desperate Housewives alum knew that the arrest was looming and would have surrendered on her own if the events of this morning hadn’t gone down. She will be released after her afternoon court appearance on a signature bond with a guarantee she’ll appear in court. Her husband has yet to be charged with anything, and it’s unclear if he ever will be.
The actress is accused of making a $15,000 donation to get involved in a college entrance exam cheating scheme on behalf of their oldest daughter, who reportedly took the SATs in December 2017 and received a 1420, which was a 400 point improvement over her PSAT score. At the test taking center, it’s said a proctor corrected her answers afterward.
ICYMI: the actress is one of at least 40 others charged this morning in a massive bribery scam involving elite colleges in the United States, including Georgetown University, Stanford University, UCLA, the University of San Diego, USC, University of Texas, Wake Forest, and Yale.
The ringleader, William Rick Singer, has pled guilty to charges including racketeering conspiracy and obstruction of justice in Boston. The FBI allegedly has recorded phone calls involving the celebrities and a cooperating witness, which led to the indictment.

Meanwhile, Lori Loughlin is allegedly flying to Los Angeles from Canada to surrender to authorities, where her husband Mossimo Giannulli is already in custody. She has reportedly been charged with with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services fraud, same as Felicity.
The Fuller House actress and her husband allegedly paid $500,000 to have both of their daughters, Bella and Olivia, recruited for the crew team, a sport which they apparently don’t play, at USC.
