And why the hell not! Imitation is the highest form of flattery – and Katy Kat was SPOT ON! LOL!
Last Saturday night, Katy Perry hosted SNL and got some really great sketches to be in. One was a infomercial for a new CD called Doggie Duty, which featured a track by Florence and the Machine called “The Dog Trial Is Over.”
So clever.
Anyway, Katy tackled the impersonation of Flo and while we really love it, we wondered how Florence felt about. Turns out … she is a fan! She raved:
“I haven’t seen it yet! I’ve seen pictures! I think she looks amazing!. I was like, ‘Yeah, that’s it! You’ve got the hair, the dress, everything.’ I’ve heard she did a really amazing job, and I’m kind of really honoured.”
As well you should be! We know we would be!
