The Forest with only one R, Forest Whitaker, may have a new part soon…and a pretty revolutionary part at that!!
It’s been rumored that Whitaker may star as Martin Luther King Jr. in a movie that’s long been in the works: Memphis. This movie would be filmed as a faux documentary and would document the last days of Martin Luther King Jr.’s life, during which he is:
“depressed about the state of both his marriage and that of war-ravaged and socially-divided America, as well the fear of being marginalized by a new generation of younger black leaders.”
WOW. Heavy!!!
But we luurrvvee the idea of Forest Whitaker in the part; he can use his giraffe fight narration skillz to change the hearts and minds of millions!! And it sounds like he’s definitely interested!
Can’t wait until this rumor is confirmed!!
