Even though Madonna didn’t attend the Oscars, but the dress she wore to Vanity Fair after party still received a lot of criticism.
The cheeky frock was designed by Francesco Scognamiglio, and now he’s spilling the deets on how it came about.
The Italian designer said:
Madonna has expressly requested two outfits from my pre-collection (winter 2012). She saw them on an american website and… nothing more. I was only told she was very happy with the clothes she selected. Then the day after the Oscars I saw the photos and I smiled. I was very happy most of all because she is a very determinate woman that knows what she wants and that once again chose me.
And there you have it.
It wasn’t our favorite, but she definitely worked it.
