Things were sure a lot more simple back in 2014, weren’t they?
We had a President with actual cognitive abilities in the White House, for one. But way back then, five long years ago, even life in the celeb realm felt simpler and better than it seems now, don’t ya think? Exhibit A in this case: the old fling between French Montana and Khloé Kardashian.

The pair dated on and off for less than a full year back in 2014-15, but half a decade later, for some reason, French is still getting asked about it. You’ll be pleased to know, though, that he remembers Khlo-money very fondly — in fact, they are still friends!
Speaking to Haute Living this week, the 34-year-old rapper got real about his one-time relationship with the KUWTK star — and revealed a little bit about where each of ’em are in life right now, too!
The Slide rapper told the mag about his super-famous (below):
“Me and Khloe are always going to be friends, and the family still remains close. I feel like we had a real dope relationship. There was no bad blood, nobody did something to somebody that we couldn’t come back from. The love was real. When the love was like that, it’s always going to be like that. Friendship after a relationship is something that’s real hard to do, and I’m glad we’ve been able to do it.”
Awww! Well isn’t that sweet!
Now, French has stayed somewhat in the Kardashian fam’s orbit; he recently attended Kourtney Kardashian‘s big-time 40th birthday bash, hanging out there with the Good American founder and the rest of the fam. So while the two exes decided to part ways romantically five years ago, French appears to be right about their being a mutual love — you know, as friends — between ’em as time goes on.
Real dope, indeed.
For what it’s worth… they’re both single now, too, so like if they ever wanted to rekindle anything… hey, we’re just saying! Just throwing it out there! Ha!!!
