Remember how much you grew to hate that face? Jack Gleeson was such a fantastically believable little tyrant as the sadistic King Joffrey on Game Of Thrones — so much so, the world collectively just learned to DESPISE HIM!
It was all the more impressive to learn that off camera he was a sweet, kind, poetry-reading young man — who was uninterested in staying in show business once his role on the HBO hit wrapped! Impressive… but also a shame. So much talent!
Well, it turns out he’s giving acting a second chance after all!

We were shocked to learn on Wednesday the now 31-year-old is returning to the small screen to co-star in an adaptation of Enid Blyton‘s The Famous Five for the BBC! He’ll play a character named Wentworth — and he’s as far from Joffrey looks-wise as it gets! In fact, we’d be impressed if anyone recognized him right away without being told!
Get your first look at Jack’s comeback (below)!
