Um, WHAT?! This sexual assault lawsuit just got even crazier!
As Perezcious readers know, Garth Brooks has been accused by his former hairstylist of raping her during a work trip in 2019, as well as sending her sexually explicit texts, groping her, and exposing his genitals in her presence, among other things.
He has vehemently denied all the allegations, insisting she’s just out for a payday and that the suit came about after he refused to hand over millions in “hush money.” He also countersued her for defamation, trying to get some of her own money out of this legal mess. And it was in that new court filing that the country music star actually revealed another shocking allegation made against him!

According to Us Weekly on Thursday, in Garth’s Tuesday amended court filing, his legal team revealed that he was accused of trying to “murder” the hairstylist! WTF!!! His court docs dished:
“Defendant also alleged a belief that Plaintiff planned to hire someone to murder her.”
Wow! That’s… INSANE!
According to RadarOnline.com, the revelation came in a suit Garth originally filed in September under the pseudonym John Roe — before his accuser filed her suit. It’s unclear exactly when this alleged murder-for-hire scandal took place. As mentioned, the woman, referred to as Jane Roe in the initial court docs, alleged that she was raped in 2019, and that some of his NSFW behavior supposedly ramped up afterwards. Furthermore, the singer has claimed that he has been privately dealing with this so-called “shakedown” attempt for two months now.
While the timing of this is unknown, the Friends in Low Places artist went on to claim he “first” learned of Jane Roe’s allegations in a “demand letter” sent to him in July, per Us. He went on to deny ALL the claims — from sexual assault to murder — insisting that “none of [them have] any basis in fact.”
As for what he claims really happened with his employee?? In the filing, the 62-year-old songwriter confirmed the hairstylist worked for him for about 15 years as an independent contractor. In 2020, she relocated to Mississippi and started struggling financially, leading her to request “financial assistance” from the artist. Jane’s attorney then sent a “confidential” letter demanding “salaried employment and medical benefits.” And that brings us to this lawsuit drama today…
While denying the allegations against him, he told Deadline in a statement last week:
“For the last two months, I have been hassled to no end with threats, lies, and tragic tales of what my future would be if I did not write a check for many millions of dollars. It has been like having a loaded gun waved in my face.”
The Dance crooner continued:
“Hush money, no matter how much or how little, is still hush money. In my mind, that means I am admitting to behavior I am incapable of — ugly acts no human should ever do to another.”
Meanwhile, he was blasted for controversially revealing Jane’s real name in his latest docs (after she allegedly leaked his name first). He had previously tried to get the court to allow them both to stay anonymous. Jane’s attorneys Douglas H. Wigdor, Jeanne M. Christensen, and Hayley Baker told Us Weekly on Tuesday:
“Garth Brooks just revealed his true self. Out of spite and to punish, he publicly named a rape victim. With no legal justification, Brooks outed her because he thinks the laws don’t apply to him. On behalf of our client, we will be moving for maximum sanctions against him immediately.”
This is certainly a complicated legal situation that just keeps getting worse!
Do y’all believe these murder allegations?! Would Garth really do that?? Sound OFF (below)!
