God bless him!
A gay-friendly church in Kilburn, England was the scene of a hate crime early Monday morning when vandals decided to steal two LGBT flags from the property.
St. Mary with All Souls Church not only accepts a queer congregation, it even houses the first practicing vicar to marry another man in the form of Father Andrew Foreshew-Cain… and he’s not about to surrender to no bigot!

Upon noticing the church’s gay and transgender pride flags were removed from their pole mere hours after Sunday services, the Good Father took to Twitter to condemn the cowardly Christians at fault, tweeting:
Someone has cut down the rainbow & Trans flags from our Church over night. They wd have needed a 10ft ladder, so this is a deliberate attack pic.twitter.com/h4xAoPlTGV

Just to say to the fellow Christians who did this, we will put them back, and you cannot silence us. No surrender pic.twitter.com/IGltBGuxJK

Preacher betta preach!
Fr. Foreshew-Cain even doubled down on his positive message, telling Buzzfeed News:
“My personal motto is ‘No surrender!’ Gay and lesbian people are not going away in the church. You can cut our flags down, you can refuse to license us as priests, you can refuse to ordain us as clergy, but we’re already in the church. Get over it. We’re not going anywhere.”
“No surrender!”
You tell ’em, Andy!

Luckily, Father Andrew also confirmed that the suspects can clearly be seen on security camera — so it’s only a matter of time until the flags are returned to their rightful home.
Would U have raised a white flag over these missing flags??
