Life continues to get better for George Clooney.
Yesterday the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced that the accomplished actor would receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award, which honors “outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment”.
For which Mr. Clooney has many!
The president of the HFPA, Theo Kingman, stated:
“The HFPA is honored to bestow the Cecil B. DeMille Award to George Clooney to celebrate his outstanding contributions both in front of and behind the camera.”
Given George’s dedication to humanitarian efforts in Darfur and four Golden Globes wins, we’re not surprised he was chosen for the award.
George will receive the top honor at the Golden Globes 2015, which is set to premiere on January 11th.
