George Lucas Had Been Planning To Do Star Wars Episode VII Before Disney Bought His Company!

For hardcore fans of the Star Wars films, this may be some REAL good news!
George Lucas, the mastermind behind the iconic films, has revealed that he was planning the three-part upcoming Star Wars films…
BEFORE Disney bought Lucasfilm from him!

In a recent interview, George revealed that he had begun developing the next trilogy in the famed series but he realized what an insane time commitment it would be!
10 years, AT LEAST!
But it looks like Disney came in at the PERFECT time to buy the company!
He revealed:

“It’s better for me to get out at the beginning of a new thing and I can just remove myself. The time is more important to me than the money.
The only thing I really regret about Star Wars is the fact I never got to see it ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ I never got to be blown out of my seat when the ship came over the screen. The next one, I’ll be able to enjoy it like anybody else.”

George also revealed that had he stayed on to direct Episode VII it would have been out in May 2015!
Sad news for fans who can’t wait til December 18th for The Force Awakens to be released!
