We reported earlier how George Zimmerman was potentially in “investigative custody” following an incident where he was accused of threatening his estranged wife and her father with a gun.
Well, if you thought the legal developments in George’s life had reached a standstill, stand your ground for an update.
According to sources, George and his estranged wife, Shellie, have continued renting their home from Shellie’s father, despite the fact that Shellie filed for divorce.
Apparently, the two have been trying to avoid seeing each other, but on Monday morning the inevitable happened and George ran into Shellie and her dad.
We hope they called animal control, because that house was probably filled with awkward turtles!
Allegedly, Shellie’s dad told George to get his no-good keister off his property, and Furious George responded by saying that he was renting the house so he had every right to be there.
But why settle issues through words when you can resolve them through mindless violence, right?
George reportedly ended up using his own trademarked style of conflict resolution: thumb wrestling punching Shellie’s dad in the face! Well, there goes his security deposit!
Does George think that punching your landlord-in-law is covered by the Stand Your Ground rule? One thing’s for sure, it’s definitely not in his rental agreement!
George apparently showed up to the house in question with his new girlfriend in his car. What’s that? No, not the trunk of his car, the front seat!
