As if it weren’t easy enough to buy guns online… now you can even purchase ones you know were involved in murders.
George Zimmerman is one of the most hated men alive, so it shouldn’t come as too much a surprise that he just spent a week trying to sell the gun he used to kill Trayvon Martin online.
While joke accounts and other fake bids luckily closed the auction the first two times he tried it, we’re hearing the Florida resident just successfully sold the weapon for a disgustingly large amount of money on Wednesday morning.

Bidding through United Gun Group started at $100,000, and after 120 bids from nine users, George reportedly made somewhere between $120,000 and $138,900 for the firearm!
However, it’s not all bad news — the highest bid came in from a user named John Smith, so it’s more than likely the tob bidder never actually intended to go through with the sale.
Unfortunately, UGG also issued a statement regarding the numerous fake bids they received, detailing their intent to find legitimate offers, saying:

Wonderful.
Hopefully all nine of George’s buyers prove to be hoaxes, because if anyone deserves disappointment in their life… it’s George Zimmerman.
Also, why did the Department of Justice even give him the gun back in the first place?!
