An unnamed German artist planned on protesting against the killing of Spanish hunting dogs and Alaskan sled dogs deemed unfit to work by strangling puppies on stage.
Yeah…that TOTALLY makes sense…
The performance, titled Death and Metamorphosis, was due to take place at a small theatre in Spandau.
He even planned on having a FUNERAL after he killed the pups! ON STAGE!
Luckily, Germany’s legal system prevailed.
An administrative court prevented the gruesome performance, though the artist claims that the German constitution protects “artistic freedom.”
Disgusting.
