Ghost Adventures Murder-For-Hire Plot Twist! Wife Was 'In Love' With Hitman -- Who Was Infamous For Florida Murder Spree!

Ghost Adventures Murder-For-Hire Plot Twist! Star’s Wife Who Hired Hitman To Kill Him Was ‘In Love’ An Infamous Convicted Murderer!

This Ghost Adventures murder plot situation just keeps getting wilder and wilder…

Earlier this month, star Aaron Goodwin’s wife Victoria was arrested after authorities uncovered a sinister murder-for-hire plot. Cops say she had been in contact with a Florida prison inmate for MONTHS discussing a plan to have the TV star offed. She provided the inmate with sensitive information like his Ghost Adventures filming schedule and locations, and arranged to pay more than $11,000 ($2,500 up front) for coordinating the murder.

Luckily, prison guards discovered the inmate’s phone and confiscated it, only to find the detailed correspondences with Victoria about Aaron’s hit… But it actually goes much deeper than that.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s report regarding Victoria’s arrest, which was obtained by People, Victoria was “in love” with the prison inmate she was communicating with! Whoa, WHAT?!

Yeah, and that’s just the first major twist! The other crazy thing? You may even have heard of him if you follow true crime…

Her alleged would-be hitman was Grant Amato. If that sounds familiar, it’s because he was arrested in 2019 and charged with the murders of his parents Margaret and Chad Amato, and older brother Cody Amato.

A quick refresher on the infamous Florida triple murder… According to court records, Grant had been kicked out of his parents’ care after failing to stick with the rehab they put him in for his internet and sex addiction. So he executed his parents, then texted his brother from his father’s phone to lure him over and murder him too. He then placed the gun in his brother’s hand to make it look like a murder suicide, and proceeded to steal HUNDREDS of thousands of dollars from them to bankroll an online relationship with a Bulgarian model.

The crime was so insane it was featured in the 2024 docuseries Ctrl+Alt+Desire, streaming on Paramount Plus. Apparently Victoria watched the doc… And liked what she saw.

According to the LVMPD, she first made contact with the convicted murderer in March 2024 and developed a twisted relationship with him. In texts uncovered by the PD, the pair discussed “how much they are in love,” and Victoria claimed that her husband “would not accept divorce.” Well you’d think that he’d prefer it over his murder

We previously reported that in one text, she even asked:

“Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce.”

But when questioned by police, she claimed to not remember sending the messages relating to the hit. She was subsequently arrested and charged with soliciting to commit murder and conspiring to commit murder. It’s unclear if Amato will also be charged, as he’s currently serving a life sentence for the murder of his family.

What a diabolical twist… Poor Aaron. Our hearts break for him! But we’re so glad he’s alive.
