Aaron Goodwin is thankful to be alive.
Earlier this month, the Ghost Adventures star found himself at the center of an alleged murder-for-hire plot initiated by his own wife, Victoria Goodwin. She’d been engaged in a love affair with Florida prison inmate Grant Amato — who’s infamous for the grisly murders of his family — for months, soliciting a hitman to kill her husband. However, the plan was thwarted when prison guards discovered Grant’s cellphone and confiscated it as contraband only to find messages from Victoria detailing Aaron’s Ghost Adventures filming schedule and a price she would pay to have the job done.
So, so, so insane.
Victoria was arrested and charged with soliciting to commit murder and conspiring to commit murder, and Aaron has since filed for divorce. You know, the correct way to end a relationship! Since then, he’s been laying pretty low. Rightfully so! We mean, how do you even begin to recover from such a betrayal?! But he returned to social media over the weekend with a hopeful message to followers.
On Saturday, Aaron shared a photo of a smiling emoji on his Instagram alongside the following caption:
“Thank you everyone for all the love and support through this emotionally trying time. It has really helped a lot and I appreciate you all”

Yeesh! Poor Aaron! We’re glad to hear his fans and followers offering so much support. Our hearts continue to be with him as he slowly but surely heals from this trauma!
