Rich White Couple Who Forced Adopted Black Children To Work As Slaves Hit With MASSIVE Prison Sentences: 'Put Them In Hell'

Rich White Couple Accused Of Adopting Black Children To Work As SLAVES!

[Warning: Potentially Triggering Content]

That white rich couple who treated their adopted Black children like “slaves”? They’ve finally been sentenced. Wait until you hear this…

If you haven’t heard about this horrifying incident, brace yourself. Donald Lantz, 62, and his wife Jeanne Kay Whitefeather, 63, were busted back in October 2023 for mistreating their five adopted children — all Black. At the time, a neighbor called CPS alleging two teenagers — a 14-year-old boy and 16-year-old girl — were locked in a shed. Others claimed the kids were “forced to perform farm labor and were not permitted inside the residence,” court docs via WCHS-TV revealed. Horrible.

The teenagers were found locked in a windowless shed with no way out, no running water, and only a portable toilet. They hadn’t eaten in 12 hours and the boy had open sores. A 9-year-old girl was also found inside the home “distressed” and at “risk” of “falling” off an approximately 15-foot drop from a loft, a criminal complaint noted. When the couple eventually got to the home hours after police had arrived, Jeanne had the audacity to tell authorities the kids “like” being locked up in the shed! WTF!!!

Just an absolutely horrendous situation — and now karma’s finally catching up to them! Or at least, the weight of the American legal system.

They were found guilty of their crimes in January and were finally given their fates on Wednesday. Per the NYT, Donald was found guilty of forced labor, human trafficking, and child abuse and neglect. With all those counts, he was slammed with a sentence of 160 years!

For all those same crimes as well as violating her children’s civil rights, Jeanne was sentenced to even longer — 215 years!

Whoa!

They’re *likely* never seeing the light of day! But they do have a chance at living to see parole. Donald will be eligible in 36 years, his wife in 49. They were also each ordered to pay $280,000 in restitution to the children.

At least that’s some justice!

During the hearing, Eighth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Maryclaire Akers told the disgraceful parents, according to WCHS:

“You brought these children to West Virginia, a place that I know is ‘almost heaven,’ and you put them in hell. This court will now put you in yours. And may God have mercy on your souls, because this court will not.”

She laid into ’em — as she should! You can watch the court hearing (below):

What do YOU think of these sentences? Will they ever get parole after a board in the future reads what they’ve done?? Sound OFF (below)!
