Not again, Gigi Hadid!
The supermodel is being sued by a professional photographer over a paparazzi shot she posted of her ex-boyfriend, Zayn Malik, to her Instagram Stories! Yes, Hadid was previously sued before by a member of the paparazzi — and no, this is not the same suit, but a totally different, brand new controversy! WTF?!

According to court docs filed in the Southern District of New York and first obtained by E! News, photographer Robert O’Neil has filed suit against the 24-year-old super model for the “unauthorized reproduction and public display” of a Malik photo he had previously registered and owned. According to the docs, Hadid apparently posted the photo on her Instagram Story, where it caught the photographer’s attention and led to the lawsuit.
The accusation in the court docs states, in part (below):
“This action [lawsuit] arises out of Defendant’s unauthorized reproduction and public display of a copyrighted photograph of English singer and songwriter Zayn Malik, owned and registered by O’Neil, a New York based professional photographer … Gigi Hadid is not, and has never been, licensed or otherwise authorized to reproduce, publicly display, distribute and/or use the Photograph.”
Well then!
At issue here is potentially a six-figure payday for the photog, if damages are found in his favor (or there’s a settlement before trial, if the case even gets that far). Per the documents filed this week, O’Neil is seeking (below):
“…to be awarded either actual damages and Defendant’s profits, gains or advantages of any kind attributable to Defendant’s infringement of Plaintiff’s Photograph [or] statutory damages of up to $150,000.”
WOW!!!
The lesson here is definitely don’t post unauthorized, copyrighted photos on your IG Stories unless you’ve got some serious cash to burn!!

Of course, this isn’t the first time Tyler Cameron‘s love has run afoul of the paparazzi and brought about legal issues! As you will probably recall, back in October 2017, the lovely young lady was officially named in yet another suit after she posted a since-deleted paparazzi shot of herself to her IG feed.
