This is so heartbreaking!
On Thursday, 2016 got even sh*ttier after the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species released a report citing giraffes as “vulnerable to extinction”.

Obviously, the news is devastating to animal lovers across the globe. It’s hard to imagine the tallest land mammal might be gone from this earth if we don’t act immediately.
According to the analysis, the species are at risk due to a “growing human illegal hunting, habitat loss and changes through expanding agriculture and mining, increasing human-wildlife conflict, and civil unrest”.
Jeez, what a doozy! It’s no wonder why there has been a 36-40% decline in the giraffe population since 1985!
Let’s just hope a September 2016 resolution adopted by the World Conservation Congress will reverse the rapid population decline.
So, are YOU surprised by this news?
