In a recent interview, almost 18-year-old Emma Roberts (Julia’s niece) talks about transitioning from child star to legit actress.
She also delivers a major diss to our favorite hot mess, Lindsay Lohan, comparing her lagging adult career to Anne Hathaway‘s Oscar-nominated nominated resume.
Roberts says:
“I just think it’s very thin ice you’re walking on, to make the transition from child actor to adolescence. Because – you know, so many people just mess it up, and they do things that are so outrageous. And it’s like – the whole point is, like, Anne Hathaway. The fact that she was in Princess Diaries, like, you’d never think about that. Whereas, like, Lindsay Lohan, you still know that she was in Freaky Friday and The Parent Trap, and it’s hard to take her seriously. So that’s why I really like – like, Anne Hathaway is a great example.”
Except that Emma needs to like, cut out the “likes” – no one’s going to take her seriously like that!
