Who knows if this is actually true, but good lord, we hope that it is!
There has been tons of speculation in the past year or so regarding if, or when, Girls Aloud would reunite now that Cheryl Cole‘s solo success has taken off, but according to a source close to the group, the ladies are planning a tour in 2012, which would celebrate their 10th anniversary together!
AMAZING!
The insider explains:
“Early next year is pencilled in for the reunion tour. It’s going to be absolutely massive. Cheryl could be a US superstar by then if her appearance on American X Factor goes according to plan this autumn, so they want to capitalize on that. It will also be the band’s 10-year anniversary in 2012, so the timing is just perfect. And with Sarah‘s wedding being the showbiz marriage of the year, the girls will be back to the height of their fame again.”
Oh man. This sounds so effing RAD.
Let’s hope that all of the stars align and it works out as perfectly as they’re hoping it to!
We need our Girls Aloud back together – and ASAP!
