Sue Sylvester!
If you were able to catch a the screening of Glee the 3D Concert Movie on Saturday at the premiere (like us!!), then you noticed a very familiar face unexplixcably absent. Jane Lynch, who has been used heavily in the promotion of the movie, did not make an appearance in the flick, despite being filmed during the tour.
Fans were, in a word, pissed off and took out their rage in the way most befitting of the situation – tweeting. So, Ryan Murphy took a moment during a news conference for the movie the next day to clear the air. He explained:
“We’re doing another version in a couple of weeks on DVD. Jane will be on that. We’ll do it that way.”
So, all is not lost Cheerios. Your fearless leader will be making an appearance. Maybe the DVD version will be an extend version. We thought there were more than a few musical numbers missing too. And you know, if they are planning a longer version, maybe they could throw in some more behind-the-scenes bits. We really wanted more of that too.
Thoughts, Gleeks? Did U miss Sue in the movie? Did U miss Mr. Schue in the movie too? Can U ever get enough of Darren Criss??? (That’s a rhetorical question.)
