See? It only takes 12 years to win a Golden Globe Award!
Patricia Arquette took home the award for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for her exceptional — and extended — work in Boyhood!
Her little experiment paid off big time as she beat out Emma Stone from Birdman, Jessica Chastain from A Most Violent Year, Keira Knightley for The Imitation Game, and even award machine Meryl Streep in Into the Woods!
They should start calling it Girlhood!
Way to go, Patricia!
