What a night!
The Golden Globes are one of the best award shows all season, and tonight was no different.
Once again Tina Fey and Amy Poehler slayed their hosting gig. It’s making us tear up that this is the last time they’ll do it!
Not only did they dare to bring Bill Cosby jokes, but they must have inspired their fellow actors to bring the funny because stars like Jeremy Renner totally dared to tackle risqué jokes!
But that’s not all we got tonight, because there was some serious love in the house … including George Clooney laying it on Amal Alamuddin!

Amy Poehler and Tina Fey started off their monologue by welcoming the “minimally talented spoiled brats” of Hollywood moments before the two were cannibalized by hundreds of Angelina Jolie‘s children. LOLz. Just kidding!
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler poked fun of Emma Stone‘s big, enormous, perfect eyes. Emma was a good sport about the jab, and decided to not use her eyes’ laser capabilities to incinerate the pair on the spot.
Tina Fey brazenly did an impression of Bill Cosby drugging somebody. Yes, she went there, and yes, it was hilarious.
What’s better than one Bill Cosby impression? Two Bill Cosby impressions. Amy Poehler then did her own impersonation of Bill Cosby. Sure, people groaned but it’s basic math: 2 Bill Cosby impressions < the amount of people who have accused Bill Cosby of drugging and sexual assaulting them. Little bit of context.
Benedict Cumberbatch won the best award of the night: the privilege of presenting with Jennifer Aniston!
Jeremy Renner proved that he’s back on the market by complimenting Jennifer Lopez‘s pair of “Golden Globes.” Nothing like some good ole fashioned innuendo, eh? Will Jeremy prove to be her less creepy Boy Next Door?
Jennifer Lopez provided a brief tutorial to Billy Bob Thorton on how to accept an award by informing him to “stand here and say thanks.” No word yet on when her book Awards Show Acceptance Speeches For Dummies will be coming out.
Margaret Cho was hilarious as a North Korean general who made Meryl Streep preeeeety uncomfortable during a photo op!
“Together, we will stand united against anyone who would repress free speech, anywhere from North Korea to Paris.” Beautiful, powerful words. Je suis charlie.

Ricky Gervais brought his glass of wine up on stage with him, but it’s not like we needed it as proof he had been drinking. That red face and giggly speech say it all!
Margaret Cho stayed in character and totally nailed her awkward North Korean general character as she basically goose stepped across the stage right in front of Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader!
“I can’t f**king believe I won!” It was Kevin Spacey‘s first win after 8 previous nominations. F**k yeah!
Wow. During George Clooney’s speech Amal just has a look of pure love in her eyes. They are just so damn cute!
According to Margaret Cho’s North Korean character, she’ll be hosting next year. Whether it’s Margaret or the North Korean, we’re not sure, but honestly either would be fine. LOLz!
