Golden Globes Sponsor L'Oréal Demands Women Be Asked More Than Just 'Who Are You Wearing?' On The Red Carpet!

What a beautiful idea!
The Golden Globes are just a few hours way from crowning the best in film and television, but things may seem a little different this time around.
That’s because a new L’Or├â┬⌐al marketing campaign called #WorthSaying is pushing red carpet interviewers to ask female celebrities more than just who they’re wearing.

Similar to last year’s Oscar hashtag #AskHerMore, the beauty company wants women — including brand ambassadors Julianne Moore, Freida Pinto, and Eva Longoria — to point out that they’re more than just their looks.
L’Oreal Paris president Karen Fondu spoke to AdWeek about the awards show change, saying:

“L’Or├â┬⌐al Paris has always believed in the individual beauty and intrinsic worth of every woman. The #WorthSaying campaign is rooted in the brand’s iconic tagline, ‘Because You’re Worth It,’ and the belief that all women have something worthy to say.
We recognize the importance to fuel the powerful words of women everywhere so their conversations reach, affect and inspire as many other women as possible. We are leveraging our broadcast sponsorship of the 2016 Golden Globes to go beyond beauty and propel the cultural shift happening around red carpet conversations.”

Of course, there’s nothing they can really do to keep these questions from being asked, but hopefully this will allow our fave actresses to get even more time to plug their latest projects!
We’ll admit, the fashions are one of our favorite aspects of awards shows, but the talented women being honored at the events probably have better things to talk about.
With that said, make sure to check back after the Golden Globes for our best and worst dressed lists!
