Abercrombie & Fitch may want to rethink some of its exclusionary policies.
After hearing the company’s CEO Mike Jeffries‘ remarks about how he doesn’t want any overweight people wearing A&F clothing, a USC grad named Greg Karber decided to take action.
In an attempt to subvert the brand’s preppy, all-American image, Greg purchased some used Abercrombie pieces from Goodwill and proceeded to hand them out to the homeless in El Lay’s Skid Row.
Not only was Greg responding to the CEO’s remarks about overweight customers, but also to the statements made by an anonymous district manager about two years ago, who said:
“Abercrombie and Fitch doesn’t want to create the image that just anybody, poor people, can wear their clothing. Only people of a certain stature are able to purchase and wear the company name.”
This statement was made in response to the company not donating any of its goods to those in need, despite requests from non-profit organizations to do so.

P.S. The Biff comparison is pretty spot-on!
