Gwyneth Paltrow is on the cover of Elle‘s September issue looking all sorts of windswept courtesy of Beyonce‘s wind machine.
Speaking of Beyonce, that’s all Gwynie talks about in her interview. Oh and bikini waxes too, but not with Beyonce.
Here are some HIGHlights:
On getting support from Beyoncé on her surprise duet with Cee Lo Green at the Grammys:
“This story always makes me cry├óΓé¼┬ªIt├óΓé¼Γäós 10 in the morning and Beyonc├â┬⌐ schleps it all the way down to the Staples Center to watch. I mean, She├óΓé¼Γäós Beyonc├â┬⌐!”
On the advice Beyoncé gave her before her performance:
“Beyonc├â┬⌐├óΓé¼Γäós like, ├óΓé¼╦£Okay. The singing is great. But you├óΓé¼Γäóre not having any fun.├óΓé¼Γäó She├óΓé¼Γäós like, ├óΓé¼╦£Remember when we├óΓé¼Γäóre at Jay├óΓé¼Γäós concert and Panjabi MC comes on and you do your crazy Indian dance? Do that. Be you!├óΓé¼Γäó”
On creating a solo album:
“Beyonc├â┬⌐ and Jay├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥they think that I should just go do it by myself. That I should go├óΓé¼┬ªin a studio and see what happens. And if it├óΓé¼Γäós good, do it. And if it├óΓé¼Γäós not, don├óΓé¼Γäót. So that├óΓé¼Γäós probably what I├óΓé¼Γäóll do.”
On deciding to launch GOOP:
“When you go to Paris and your concierge sends you to some├óΓé¼┬ª restaurant because they get a kickback, it├óΓé¼Γäós like, No. Where should I really be? Where is the great bar with organic wine? Where do I get a bikini wax in Paris? People know that I know that├óΓé¼┬ª”
Moral of the story: the next time you’re in Paris and need a good wax, ask Gwyneth!
