The results are finally in on who is the father of Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s baby!
As Perezcious readers will recall, she filed for divorce from her husband of less than two years, Ryan Anderson, in April — three months after leaving prison. She then reunited with her former fiancé Ken Urker afterward. The pair insisted they were not dating and just friends at first. However, that did not last long! They became a couple and are even expecting a baby girl together!

It’s great news for Ken and Gypsy, but there’s a pretty issue here. Her marriage to Ryan complicates things A LOT! According to Louisiana law, if a mother is married to someone who is not the biological father of her kid at the time of conception or has been divorced for less than 300 days at the time of the child’s birth, then the estranged husband is legally the father! Wild! That meant there was a chance Ryan’s name could have been on the baby’s birth certificate unless one of two things happened! Either her ex signed an affidavit saying Ken is the father, or Ken established paternity through a DNA test, with all three of them providing samples.
Gypsy has insisted Ken is the father — not Ryan — due to the timeline. Even her former hubby did not think the baby was his, but he was not 100 percent sure. So, the trio chose to do the second option to get an official answer! They did the DNA test. Ryan announced that he was took the test in August.
A couple of months later, Gypsy took a non-invasive prenatal paternity test. Now, we know who the father is! Don’t worry! We won’t keep the suspense going! Without further ado, the dad of her baby is… drum roll please ….

Yep, you read that right! Ryan is not the father of her baby! It’s Ken! Gypsy announced the news on Instagram on Tuesday, saying alongside a pic of the test results:
“There’s been a lot of chatter around the paternity of our baby and while we’ve known for sure from the beginning, I feel that it’s finally time to put all these theories to rest. Here are the results showing Ken is the father. Ken is going to be an incredible dad and we are so excited to welcome our baby girl into the world.”
