Hailey Bieber is sending some love to Justin Bieber amid the recent drama between her, Kylie Jenner, and Selena Gomez.
The 26-year-old model – who was recently spotted in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, without her hubby – took a moment during her day to hop on Instagram Wednesday to share a tribute for the singer’s 29th birthday. She kept it short and sweet, sharing several snapshots of the couple and writing in the caption:
“29 never looked so good. Happy Birthday to you best friend! Words couldn’t possibly sum up all that you embody. So here’s to more joy, more travel, yummy food, adventures, more peace, fun, and most of all more love.”

For those who haven’t kept up with the recent sitch, it all started when Hailey and Kylie came under fire after they seemingly threw shade at Selena. The back-and-forth drama escalated to the point where the Only Murders in the Building actress quit social media. And of course, fans have not been shy about voicing their opinions about the situation. In fact, many have chosen sides on the matter, and they seemed to be primarily #TeamSelena as Kylie and Hailey lost A TON of followers on the ‘gram. Some even chose to leave brutal messages on the Rhode Skin creator’s Instagram posts, leading her to limit the comments. Well, that is until now.
Interestingly enough, Hailey did not limit her comments on the tribute to Justin. And let’s just say that might have been a mistake because people had a lot to say – and not all of it good! See some of the reactions to the birthday post (below):

You pretty much get the picture of what most social media users had to say. It was pretty harsh, to say the least! However, some people did come to Hailey’s defense, saying:
“Everyone attacking her you’re just embarrassing yourselves you’ve all got to realise that social media takes things out of proportion she’s married and it’s her husbands birthday let her be!”
“If you’re hating her then why you’re on her post even before everyone, go get a life”
“This comment section makes me sick…leave her alone. Y’all are literally bullies. People are showing their jealousy like crazy”
