In honor of FOX‘s Rocky Horror Picture Show Event on Thursday night, NBC decided to steal some thunder on Wednesday by sharing a first look at their Hairspray Live! cast photo.
And we have to say… the all-star cast — including Ariana Grande, Kristin Chenoweth, Jennifer Hudson, Garrett Clayton, and Dove Cameron, just to name a few — couldn’t have looked better in character!

Unfortunately, a few of the supporting actors like Rosie O’Donnell, Billy Eichner, and Sean Hayes didn’t quite make the first photo… but there’s still some time to go before the show opens Wednesday, December 7 at 8 p.m. EST on NBC!
Plus, we have to give some credit to newbie Maddie Baillio for stealing the scene as Tracy Turnblad!
