Shoe Boutique Boss Says Nikki Blonsky WAS Working At His Store!

So…what’s the verdict, Nikki? Can you get us a deal on a new pair of shoes or NOT??? LOLz.

Earlier this month, we heard that Hairspray star Nikki Blonsky, who also starred in the short-lived ABC Family series Huge last summer, had started working the register at a high-end shoe boutique in Great Neck, NY called Steven Dann.

Then, last week, Nikki took to Twitter and said she was just experimenting “4 a day working @ a friends boutique 2 see what it was like.”

Now, the owner of the shoe boutique, Steven Dann, is saying that Nikki WAS working at his store and WASN’T “just experimenting.”

Here’s what he had to say about it:

“She was scheduled to work two to three times a week, until this media frenzy took over. I wish Nikki a ton of luck for whatever comes next for her.”

And here’s what Dann tweeted after Nikki denied that she working at his store over Twitter:

“The next time a friend asks u for help, think again before you say YES.”

Ouch! Sounds like maybe Nikki WAS working at the store, and hurt her boss/friend’s feelings by denying it.

Give us a straight answer, Ms. Blonsky! We wouldn’t judge you for working at a shoe store…but we’re not crazy about the whole lying thing!
