Hangover 2 star Zach Galifianakis Pulls A Mel!

We understand he was joking around when he did this, but given his feelings toward Mel, this MAY not have been the best joke choice ever.
During the 14th Annual Hollywood Awards Gala yesterday, Zach Galifianakis called Hangover 2 director Todd Phillips “the worst Jew in Hollywood.” He then said “That’s an inside joke.”
The joke is obviously referring to the drama surrounding Mel Gibson, who is notoriously known for his comment “Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world,” and who was fired from The Hangover 2 because the cast and crew didn’t want him there.
What do U think of Galifianakis’ joke? Completely innocent? Or does it hit too close to home because of Mel controversy?
