Harry Styles Robbed At Knifepoint On Valentine's Day!

OMG so scary! Harry Styles was involved in such a traumatic situation over the weekend — he was held at knifepoint!

According to a report in the Daily Mirror, the former One Direction singer was out in Hampstead, England on Valentine’s Day when he was stopped by a mugger — who pulled a knife on him and demanded his cash! Thankfully he turned over the money — because what is a few bucks to a huge pop star anyway?? — and the robber left the Adore You singer completely unharmed.

The London Metropolitan Police confirmed the incident, though they wouldn’t publicly release the name of the very famous victim. Their statement explained:

“Officers were contacted on Saturday, 15 February regarding the incident which happened at 23.50hrs on Friday, 14 February. It was reported that a man in his 20s was approached by another man and threatened him with a knife. The victim was not injured however, cash was taken from him. No arrests and enquiries are ongoing.”

A source who witnessed the dangerous encounter told the Mirror Harry’s trademark chill demeanor actually came in handy:

“He actually played it pretty cool, quickly giving the assailant cash, keeping himself and the guy calm and getting the situation over with.”

However, the source added:

“Understandably though it left him very shaken up afterwards.”

We bet! Not that there’s any good time to be robbed at knifepoint, but this particular timing, as the source notes, was pretty awful. The very next day Harry’s ex-girlfriend Caroline Flack was found dead of an apparent suicide.

“Given how Caroline took her own life the next day, the pressures of a new album and a performance at the Brit Awards this evening, it’s fair to say this is the last thing poor old Harry needed.”

This is also not the first time Harry has faced scary individuals. Last year he had a terrifying three month period where he was allegedly being stalked by a homeless man to whom he was kind enough to give food.

According to reports, he told a judge in the case:

“I never really encountered this kind of behaviour before. I’ve employed a night guard. I continue to lock my bedroom door at night.”

We wonder how being threatened on the street will affect him going forward.
