You may think you already know Harry Styles, but apparently you have NO IDEA!
The former One Direction heartthrob has been working on his solo album in between casually acting in big budget movies with Tom Hardy.
And apparently, all that artistic alone time will gift us with the most genuine version of the British crooner yet!

Columbia Records CEO Rob Stringer still didn’t give a release date for Harry’s solo project, but assured that fans won’t be disappointed when the final product drops.
When pressed for details about the 23-year-old’s upcoming album, he told Billboard:

“We’re close and we’re very excited. We have a record we’re incredibly excited about and it’s not far away from being ready. We obviously want everything to be beautifully done, because we think he’s here to stay. Harry has stepped up with the vision of someone who’s authentic.”

Stringer also noted that the other members of 1D were able to see (mild) solo success because the group “didn’t box themselves into a corner singing and dancing” like the ghosts of boy bands past.

Commenting on the hit singles of bandmates Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson, he explained:

“[One Direction] didn’t have all the rules of the boy bands of the past where they’re too boy-next-door, too sickly sweet. They weren’t caricatures. And today, they’re making smart choices. It doesn’t surprise me that there’s is a different path and they’re doing pretty well. With One Direction, they became so big everywhere and from day one that their spread is much wider than other previous boy bands.”

Sorry, Backstreet Boys
There’s no word on when Harry’s album will hit shelves, but it sounds like it will genuinely be well worth the wait!
Just don’t keep us in suspense for too long, Styles.
