When actresses get pregnant, their stylists have to work overtime!
Hayden Panettiere‘s pregnancy has given Susie DeSanto, the wardrobe stylist on Nashville, quite a dilemma.
Luckily, Hayden’s pregnancy was written into the show so Susie doesn’t have to go out of her way to hide the baby bump, but she does have to stay true to Hayden’s character’s provocative style while
Susie said:
“It’s been a big challenge. I mean, she’s a really tiny girl and she’s pregnant. There’s nowhere for that baby to be but in the room! I think the most challenging part is maintaining Juliette’s character while covering up [the extent of] her pregnancy. Juliette’s style is body-conscious ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ she’s always got the shortest skirt in the room. We’ve been buying bigger clothes and tailoring them down. That way, we can use the same designers, colors, and fabrics.”
Well, Hayden’s been looking wonderful lately and we can’t imagine why her character wouldn’t as well, especially with such a talented team behind her!
